Well, well, well. So the Baftas have come and gone and I can't really say I remember any one dress more than another. So I thought I might take the opportunity to have a look back at what our celebrities wore.
Penelopy Cruz wowed in this slinky number. What I loved about this was the modest style. Penelope exposed her shoulder and nothing else. Did she have heads turning? I am sure she did, but not for that glimmer of flesh. They would have been mesmerised by the sheer beauty of the cut. Layered fabric, asymmetric lines and draping. Could this get any more lush?

Daisy Ridley was, by far the celebrity that most stood out for me. What a stunning outfit. Definitely one I could slip on and not feel out of place in. So whats good about it? Well, first of all the shape is amazing. A great A-line that works well for the pear shaped among us. It also has a peplum around the hip area, which works wonders for the more slender and curve-less figures. There's a definite Oriental trend going on, with block colours and flowers. A beautiful gal wearing a beautifully ModEst creation.

Dutchess of Cambridge was the most on fleek with her beautifully crafted dress. Floral on black was a definite hit on the runway and a must for any fashionista's wardrobes. Its femininity toned down, for those that are perhaps a bit shy when it comes to girly trends. I love it. The off the shoulder element to this dress was tastefully done, making this a definite ModEst thumbs up.

Anya Taylor-Joy looked demure in this creation. I have to be honest at this juncture and say that I was not digging the old toilet cosy look. You know what I mean, the dolls that sat on the loo rolls and that had huge dresses that covered the rolls of paper. However, I have to add that on Anya, this dress is exquisite. I love the embellishment on her chest with the ornate finish to the neck and arm holes.
